Jonny Cagwin

I am a beloved son of the Most High, husband, father, and campus ministry staff member with a deep commitment to spiritual formation and pastoral care.
Since 2006, I have served in campus ministry—first in an Anglican parish setting and currently in a dual role as a Staff Care provider and Spiritual Director, while continuing to minister to student athletes at a university. My formation as a Spiritual Director took place through a program within the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside pastors, priests, ministry staff, undergraduate and graduate students, and business professionals. In my practice, we listen together for the movements of the Holy Spirit and the voice of God through Scripture, seeking clarity, understanding, and the peace promised in the Word. Life-giving activities for me include cycling, hiking (ADK 46-er), paddling, camping, and spending time with my family.
Working with those in ministry roles in and outside of church settings. Clergy, pastors, campus ministry professionals, young adults, students and those in periods of discernment or desiring to live into a newer rhythm of life and practiced Christain walk have been my main focus in direction. Experienced with individuals and groups hurt by the Church or church leaders, navigating transitions in calling or vocation, and needing a companioning relationship leaning on the grace and patience of our Lord.
